Post production

Reef Television has one of the best independent production company post facilities. The facility is located on the 7th floor of our main office building and has been specially designed and fitted out to offer a comfortable and spacious environment for editing. Edit suites are available for hire and we regularly work with other production companies to offer a competitive solution to their post production needs.

Theses fully-upgraded facilities can work with all types of HD material and currently have 8 edit suites running Avid Media Composers. All suites are spacious, have windows and can also offer technical support with edit assistants and experienced staff editors.

Other facilities include an extensive tape storage library, a machine room, a viewing room and a separate space for a production office.

Technically we can offer 6 offline suites that have been fitted out with AJO IO Express boxes and upgraded to Avid 5.5 and Windows 7 64bit. 2 New online suites now consist of HP Z400 and HP xw8600 CPUs and HD JVC LCD Monitors for playback along with the AJO IO Express. As well as these upgrades, 2 new digitise stations can input a full range of HD material including XDCAM and HD MPEG2 onto 24tb storage arrays and convert to low resolution material for use in the offline suites. This material is then conformed back in the machine room when it is ready for the online process. All footage shot can be backed up to LTO4 tapes at the end of the editing process.
